We are Alice and Bjorn Askholm, owners of the newly opened ABWonderdive resort Bali, which is placed right at the beach in Kubu with view to the Bali see. ABWonderdive is a family friendly resort offering relaxation at highest level, activities such as diving, snorkeling, potting green, petanque, massage and different cultural excursions. ABWonderdive is newly opened in 2019.
We left Denmark in Jan. 1997, have traveled around the world collecting a lot of experience. We worked as Dive Master and dive instructors in different dive centers, has been working as dive center manager couple in Caribbean and in the Maldives. Apart from that we have also been owners of three different dive centers in the Philippines. After many years of great experiences and exciting challenges, we have now taken the big step and moved to Bali in 2017. Now we have opened our cozy dive resort in Kubu.
ABWonderdive is a fantastic ECO friendly resort placed directly down to the beach and the beautiful Bali Sea. The resort is built with environmentally friendly methods and materials. Materials such as local earth, stones and timber has been used through the whole project, since we wish to have as small an impact on the environment as possible. We have used experienced Balinese labor, to unite the traditional working methods with international design. By using these methods it has become a unique resort which has a great combination of wood and stones build into the bungalows, Villas and resort. The landscaping of the resort is inspired by the Balinese nature and tropical atmosphere. Most important throughout the whole building process was to support the local community as much as possible.
